Senior Business Consultant (Asset Management Transformation | Utilities | Amsterdam) Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months Experience: 10+ Years Status: Open Competencies: Business Analysis, Asset Management (BFS), Change Management, Plant Design Engineering – Process About the Role We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Consultant to lead business analysis activities across a large‑scale asset management transformation program within the European utilities sector. This role is central to shaping business requirements, driving solution alignment, and ensuring successful delivery across a multi‑phase digital transformation initiative. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and program leadership to guide decision‑making, validate requirements, and support readiness for deployment and hypercare. Key Responsibilities • Lead business analysis activities across a major asset management transformation program. • Gather, validate, and document business requirements aligned with strategic objectives. • Conduct fit‑gap analysis and influence solution discussions based on business value realization. • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and decision‑making sessions with cross‑functional stakeholders. • Manage stakeholder relationships across business, IT, and transformation teams. • Support testing cycles, business readiness planning, and deployment activities. • Contribute to hypercare support post‑go‑live to ensure smooth transition and adoption. • Ensure alignment between business processes, regulatory requirements, and solution design. Essential Skills & Experience • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Asset Lifecycle Management , ideally within the utilities sector. • Proven leadership in large‑scale business transformation or digital transformation programs. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation capabilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Deep familiarity with Agile , Waterfall , and Hybrid delivery models. • Experience with European utility clients is highly advantageous. • ITIL or similar certification preferred. Desirable Skills • Experience with digital transformation programs. • Knowledge of EU energy regulations , compliance frameworks, and industry standards. • Certifications such as Prince2 , SAFe , or Agile . • Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management processes.
