Solution Architect (Contract/Govt SI)

About the Role Our client is a Singapore public sector organisation focused on community, culture, and social development initiatives. They are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their technology team on a contract basis, driving the design and delivery of modern, production-grade digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of scalable web applications using modern full-stack technologies Drive full-stack development efforts utilising Next.

js and TypeScript , ensuring alignment with component-based architecture and current web development best practices Develop and oversee agentic engineering workflows , leveraging coding agents to augment and streamline software engineering processes Own the implementation of spec-driven development practices and agent harnessing strategies, reviewing outputs for quality and reliability Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments on AWS , working with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFront Implement and maintain DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CDK Establish monitoring and observability frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions Requirements Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or a closely related discipline, with a demonstrated track record of delivering production-grade applications Strong hands-on proficiency in full-stack development , particularly with Next.

js and TypeScript, and a solid grasp of modern web architecture
