Job Description

We are representing our client, the Singapore branch of a large Chinese bank, to look for an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst to join the Risk Management Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit assessments of corporate customers, evaluating financial and industry risks, and providing sound credit recommendations in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s credit policies.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and assessment of corporate customers, including reviewing credit applications for compliance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s credit policies.

Analyse customers’ financial performance, business operations, cash flow, repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness to identify key credit risks. Assess the overall credit risk of corporate groups and determine appropriate client credit ratings.

Identify key risk factors and recommend effective risk mitigation measures, credit controls and appropriate risk management strategies. Review and provide credit opinions on proposals submitted to the Pre-Trial Committee, including providing relevant support and secretarial duties as required.

Conduct industry and sector research covering market trends, competitive dynamics, industry outlook and emerging risks across assigned sectors. Monitor approved credit facilities, commitments and key risk indicators to ensure continued compliance with approved terms and conditions.

Identify early warning signals and emerging credit concerns and recommend timely and effective risk mitigation or remedial actions. Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements, credit policies, market developments and industry trends affecting the Bank’s corporate customers.

Support other credit risk analysis, monitoring and ad hoc projects as assigned by the department.
