Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer (Design Consultancy/Building services)

Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer ready to lead impactful projects from design through construction — and mentor the next generation of engineers? Our client, a leading consulting firm specializing in major development projects in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. What You’ll Do • Lead the design and development of mechanical engineering works, from concept through to construction completion. • Manage full project delivery — budgets, schedules, quality assurance, client communication, and change management. • Review technical reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings at every project stage. • Oversee project execution, quality control, and contract administration for mechanical engineering scopes. • Guide, mentor, and develop junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth within a team. What You Bring • A degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore. • PEB Singapore registration preferred. • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design for building services (open to Senior and Principal level candidates). • A proven track record with a consulting firm on major development projects. • Strong familiarity with local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures. • Excellent planning, organisational, and supervisory skills, with experience leading and developing a team. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus. • A collaborative, self-driven team player committed to delivering excellence for clients and stakeholders.
