Title: Registered Nurse, Emergency Location: British Columbia sites including: Kamloops, Vernon, Williams Lake, Fernie, Clearwater, Princeton, Creston, 100 Mile House Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts Pay Range: $54 - 67/hour What You'll Do As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will: • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage • Deliver safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions • Assist with trauma, cardiac, respiratory, pediatric, and medical emergencies • Operate and monitor emergency equipment • Document patient care accurately using electronic health records • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions • Support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care Qualifications • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • CTAS certification preferred • TNCC preferred • ENPC preferred What We Offer • Competitive travel contract rates • Travel reimbursement (mileage + up to 7.5 hours of travel time) • Accommodation assistance (where applicable) • Flexible contract lengths • Full-time hours with day, evening, and night shifts available • Opportunities to extend contracts • Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment JOB POSTING DISCLAIMER Apply today to be part of a dedicated healthcare team!
