Job Description

Atomic Recruitment – Finance Director (13k, Manufacturing, Confidential) Location: Central, Singapore Salary: Up to SGD 13k x 13 Months + Bonus Roles & Responsibilities • Financial Operations & Reporting • Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, transactional processes, treasury, group consolidation, and closing activities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, board packs, and year-end reporting. • Governance & Controls • Strengthen financial governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management processes. Drive continuous improvement in workflows and procedures to ensure data integrity while balancing efficiency and control. • Costing & Financial Discipline • Develop and implement robust costing methodologies to accurately capture product costs and support operational decision-making. • Cross-Functional Business Partnering • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, IT, HR, and Legal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance overall business efficiency and growth. • Tax & Strategic Support • Support senior leadership in group tax compliance (direct and indirect) and transfer pricing frameworks. Contribute to financial strategy and transformation initiatives aligned with long-term business objectives. • Projects & Transformation • Lead and drive corporate initiatives including cost optimisation, finance transformation, system enhancements, process reengineering, and technology enablement. Support data-driven decision-making through improved reporting and analytics capabilities. • Ad-hoc Responsibilities • Undertake additional duties and strategic projects as assigned. Requirements • Experience • Minimum 15 years of relevant finance experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment in Asia. • Qualifications • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. Professional certification (CA/CPA) preferred. • Language • Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous to engage with regional stakeholders. • Technical & Systems Skills • Strong familiarity with accounting systems, financial software, and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency. • Leadership & Team Management • Proven track record in building, leading, and developing high-performing finance teams. • Stakeholder Management • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, with strong collaboration across functions. • Communication Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal effectiveness. • Personal Attributes • Proactive, pragmatic, and results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
