• Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, cybersecurity best practices, and applicable regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages while working independently or collaboratively.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience; 3–6 years preferred.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java and JavaScript, with experience developing concurrent or multithreaded applications.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent preferred).
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and general infrastructure concepts.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming HTTP-based APIs, including RESTful services.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices, automated testing, application monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn and contribute across software engineering, testing, security, DevOps, and operational support functions.
• Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and validating solutions prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with AI tools, developer productivity tools, or AI-assisted software development is a plus.
