Job Description

Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in advanced semiconductor and manufacturing technology solutions. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Tooling Assembly Technician (Precision Mold) – Engineering to join their engineering team. They are located in the (North) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities

for Tooling Assembly Technician (Precision Mold): Assemble and troubleshoot precision semiconductor mold tooling in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve tooling, molding, and encapsulation process issues.

Conduct tooling adjustments, calibration, and optimization to achieve required performance and dimensional accuracy. Inspect and verify assembly quality using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with critical specifications.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly activities, test results, and tooling modifications while adhering to safety and 5S requirements.

Requirements

Diploma, NTC, or equivalent in Mechanical, Precision Engineering, or related technical disciplines. Hands-on experience in precision tooling, mold assembly, or plastic injection molding, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mold schematics.

Skilled in precision assembly and inspection using high-accuracy measurement tools, with understanding of critical-to-function dimensions. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills; prior experience in semiconductor molding or tooling environments is an added advantage.
