Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, who will work with a team of developers and engineers building infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But, your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and tools on Google Cloud Platform. Set up and configure GCP services for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation. Manage source code repositories using Git, and implement branching and merging strategies.
Ensure code versioning best practices are followed. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools such as Cloud Build. Implement and optimize deployment strategies for applications on GCP. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Implement containerization using Docker. Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes on GCP. Set up monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver or similar tools. Monitor and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration and delivery process. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Implement and enforce security best practices in the DevOps pipeline.
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Technical Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform. Strong proficiency in GCP services and tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Te
