• Position the value of commercial payment products in areas such as cash-flow flexibility, spend control, reconciliation efficiency, and visibility into business payments
• Tailor pitches and proposals to different customer types, industries, and buyer personas
• Sell to business owners and finance decision-makers by understanding their payment processes, working capital needs, and operational pain points
• Handle objections related to fees, supplier acceptance, existing banking relationships, implementation effort, controls, and change management
• Partner with internal teams such as product, operations, risk, onboarding, and customer success to support smooth deal progression and activation
• Market feedback
• Provide feedback from the market to help refine proposition, messaging, and go-to-market approach
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
• Relevant financial services, payments, or sales certifications are a plus but not required
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in payments, cards, banking, fintech, SaaS, lending, or another consultative solution-selling environment
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a new business acquisition role
• Experience engaging decision-makers such as founders, finance managers, heads of finance, CFOs, or operations leaders
• Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close
• Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline and activity
• Experience in fintech or issuer-led / partner-led distribution models
• Ability to simplify financial or payment concepts for different audiences
• Strong follow-through and execution discipline
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-moving environment
What success looks like

• Strong self-generated pipeline with disciplined conversion rates
• Consistent mid-market and large-market new logo wins
• Clear product and market insights that sharpen ICP targeting and improve win rate
