Job Description

The People Partner is a key member of Hegen's People & Workplace Experience (PWE) team, supporting the delivery of people initiatives that strengthen employee experience, workforce effectiveness and organisational growth. Working closely with the department head, this role combines workforce analytics, payroll and people operations, employee engagement, talent programmes and employer branding. The successful candidate enjoys working with both people and data and is energised by translating insights into practical actions that improve employee experience, strengthen organisational effectiveness and support business priorities. This is a broad and hands-on role suited for a HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership of outcomes and enjoys balancing operational excellence with continuous improvement. Responsibilities People Analytics & Workforce Insights • Develop and maintain workforce dashboards, reports and people metrics relating to headcount, turnover, absenteeism, engagement, recruitment effectiveness and talent movement • Analyse workforce trends and provide meaningful insights that support organisational decision-making and workforce planning • Support compensation benchmarking, benefits reviews and market research activities • Evaluate the effectiveness of people programmes and initiatives through workforce analytics and employee feedback • Provide data-driven recommendations that strengthen employee experience, workforce effectiveness and organisational outcomes • Maintain the integrity, accuracy and governance of people data, reporting and HR systems Payroll, People Operations & Compliance • Manage and coordinate end-to-end payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance • Support benefits administration, employee insurance programmes and other people-related initiatives • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee movements, confirmations and performance cycles • Maintain employee records, HR documentation and people data in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements • Support audits, statutory reporting and compliance activities • Review and enhance people processes, policies and workflows to improve operational effectiveness, scalability and employee experience • Support the administration, optimisation and adoption of HR systems, tools and platforms • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and continuous improvement across people processes Employee Experience & People Programmes • Serve as a key point of contact for employees on people-related matters, programmes and initiatives • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives in partnership with the department head • Drive employee engagement, employee listening and culture-building initiatives that strengthen connection, wellbeing and belonging • Support employee relations matters and workplace concerns, escalating complex cases where appropriate • Champion Hegen's employee experience pillars, including HegenCares, HegenCelebrates and HegenVitality • Support internal communications and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organisational culture • Foster strong working relationships across the organisation and contribute to a positive and high-performing workplace environment Talent Programmes & Employer Branding • Drive internship programmes, workforce development initiatives and relevant government grant opportunities • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives, including careers content, recruitment campaigns and candidate experience improvements • Support recruitment activities and hiring initiatives where required • Coordinate training, learning and workforce development opportunities where applicable • Partner with educational institutions, community organisations and external vendors to support talent and workforce development initiatives Requirements • 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, People Operations or related disciplines • Demonstrated experience across key HR disciplines, including people operations, employee lifecycle management, employee engagement and payroll administration • Strong analytical capability with experience developing workforce reports, dashboards and people insights to support decision-making • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience managing HRIS platforms and employee data • Experience supporting payroll processing, benefits administration and HR operational activities with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking, workforce reporting and people analytics • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation • Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment About the Company At Hegen, we redefine the parenting experience through award-winning innovations tailored for mothers and their little ones.
