Quality Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, improving, and maintaining quality standards across logistics operations while working closely with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers. What are you going to do? As a Quality Specialist , you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality logistics operations and driving continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities include: • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and quality control processes. • Monitor quality performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions. • Conduct audits and inspections of logistics processes, materials, and operations. • Collaborate with operations teams and logistics partners to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance. • Manage and evaluate the performance of logistics service providers (LSPs). • Optimize logistics processes to enhance service quality while reducing operational costs. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and international logistics procedures. You will work at the European supply chain center of a leading global technology company, based in Waalwijk . This location uses modern smart warehouse systems , automation , and digital tools to deliver high-quality logistics and manufacturing services across Europe. What do we ask? • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in quality, logistics, supply chain, or operations. • Authorised to work in the Netherlands • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with quality management systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Good understanding of manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain processes. • Experience working with logistics service providers is considered a strong advantage. • Knowledge of transportation processes, international trade, and freight forwarding is a plus. • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and ADR regulations is advantageous. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. • Strong organizational and project management skills. • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative international environment. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
