Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst Location: São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid) Industry: Personal Care Product Manufacturing Work Setting: Fulltime Are you passionate about financial analysis, capital investment planning, and partnering with business leaders to drive strategic decision-making? We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support capital investment portfolios, financial planning activities, and business performance initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to influence key investment decisions, optimize financial processes, and deliver insights that support long-term growth and operational excellence. As a trusted business partner, you will lead financial analysis for capital projects, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities, improve financial visibility, and ensure strong governance over capital expenditures and related assets. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis • Partner with business and operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support capital investment programs and strategic initiatives. • Deliver regular financial reports, variance analyses, and performance insights to support informed decision-making. • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities. • Assist in financial forecasting cycles and maintain visibility into capital spending and investment performance. Capital Investment Management • Monitor and report on capital expenditures, project spending, and investment performance against approved budgets. • Support governance processes to ensure investments comply with financial policies and approval requirements. • Provide ongoing tracking and analysis of capital projects, commitments, and open purchase obligations. • Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize investments and optimize capital allocation decisions. • Support asset management activities and improve financial visibility across investment portfolios. Financial Modeling & Business Case Development • Develop robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and strategic projects. • Perform analyses such as Net Present Value (NPV), Return on Investment (ROI), profitability assessments, and scenario modeling. • Partner with project sponsors and leadership teams to assess financial viability and support investment recommendations. • Present findings and insights to stakeholders through executive-level reports and presentations. • Evaluate project performance and identify opportunities to enhance financial returns. Process Improvement & Business Partnership • Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting, improve processes, and enhance operational efficiency. • Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within finance and business operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives and strategic priorities. • Provide financial guidance and analytical support to stakeholders across multiple functions. • Contribute to the development of enhanced reporting tools, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), capital investment analysis, corporate finance, or related financial roles. • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and investment evaluation methodologies. • Knowledge of supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or business finance environments. • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations. • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial modeling expertise. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications. • Experience with enterprise financial systems and performance management platforms. • Knowledge of data automation, reporting tools, and process optimization technologies. • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation platforms. • Exposure to capital project governance, asset management, and investment portfolio management. • Experience supporting business transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
