About the Role
Reporting into a high-performing finance leadership team, this position will see you act as the key Finance Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing functions. You will provide commercial insights, challenge assumptions, support strategic decision-making and deliver meaningful analysis that drives revenue growth and improved business performance.
Working closely with a range of senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, commercial modelling, tender evaluations and performance reporting, while helping to improve reporting capability through automation and dashboard development.
Duties
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to provide commercial insights and strategic financial support.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts across revenue, marketing expenditure and key commercial drivers.
• Analyse commercial performance, identifying trends, opportunities and risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support pricing decisions, tenders, commercial negotiations and promotional activity through financial modelling and profitability analysis.
• Prepare monthly performance reporting, KPI analysis, variance commentary and executive-level insights.
• Support month-end activities by reviewing financial results, ensuring reporting accuracy and assisting with accruals where required.
• Develop and enhance commercial reporting and dashboards to improve business visibility and reduce manual reporting.
• Build financial models and decision-support tools to assist business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and commercial analysis. About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes through insightful analysis. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are naturally curious, analytical and solutions-focused.
You will ideally bring:
• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards).
• Approximately 5-8+ years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Comfortable and competent working with complex large data sets.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a clear and meaningful way.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar would be highly regarded.
• Exposure to ERP systems and planning tools such as TM1, NetSuite or equivalent is advantageous. What's on Offer
