Devops Engineer (Banking)

Role Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance enterprise workflow applications in a dynamic banking environment. In this role, you will work across the full application lifecycle – from development and deployment to monitoring and maintenance.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our workflow platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Maintenance Collaborate with development teams to enhance and maintain Java-based enterprise workflow applications. Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability across environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments. DevOps Implementation Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment. Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes.

Integrate infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing resources. Work with vendors to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and integrate with existing tools. Configure SSO, SSL, load balancers, auto-scaling, and DNS setup for the DevOps toolset, following naming conventions.

System Support & Monitoring Manage cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure supporting enterprise workflow applications. Monitor systems for uptime, performance, and security. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to align DevOps practices. Document processes, tools, and system configurations. Advocate for best practices in DevOps, automation, and application lifecycle management.
