About the Role Support the Art Gallery’s facilities operations through the maintenance of mechanical plant equipment and engineering services at all Art Gallery sites. What Technical/Soft Skills you require • Refrigeration and air conditioning Trades Indentured Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent with at demonstrated substantial experience. Open Class Steam Boiler and Refrigeration Engine Drivers Certificates preferred. • Proven knowledge and experience in operating a computerised building management system. • Knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and regulations pertaining to the HVAC environment. • Ability to work a rotating roster at various locations requiring weekend and public holiday shifts and be available for out of hours consultation and attendance in the event of fire or major mechanical breakdowns. • Extensive knowledge of experience in operation and maintenance of a large air conditioning system and conversant in the operation of large chillers and steam boilers. • Sound communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Hold a current NSW driver’s license To submit your application online, please provide: For your application to be considered • Your resume (maximum five pages) • A covering letter addressing the technical/soft skills, as outlined above Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013, therefore you may be contacted to participate.
