The Role Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll become a trusted advisor to leaders across a large, multi-site workforce, supporting them through a broad range of people matters while contributing to exciting organisational projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll partner closely with leaders, provide practical HR advice, manage complex employee matters, and play an integral role in shaping the future of the People & Culture function. Alongside your day-to-day HR responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects including HR systems implementation, policy development, remuneration reviews and organisational change. Key responsibilities • Partner with leaders to provide expert advice across the employee lifecycle. • Coach managers through performance management, workplace issues and employee relations matters. • Manage investigations, grievances and complex people matters in line with employment legislation and organisational policies. • Support organisational change, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives. • Develop and review HR policies, procedures and documentation. • Analyse HR data and provide insights to support business decisions. • Contribute to People & Culture projects, including HR systems and process improvements. • Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Awards and organisational policies. Experience: • At least 7 years' experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role. • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and best-practice HR. • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters, investigations and performance management. • Exceptional stakeholder management and coaching skills. • The ability to work autonomously, use initiative and confidently support leaders. • Experience working within education, healthcare or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
