POSITION SUMMARY: DuBois Chemicals is seeking an experienced high-level sales professional to penetrate and grow within the specialty chemicals market.

Business Development Manager (BDM) should be ambitious and motivated to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities at an efficient rate. Demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Aggressively grow profitability and develop business in the (market name) market. BDM position is solely a fast-paced sales role with minimal service responsibilities.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities which involve researching markets, identifying potential clients and developing strategies to approach them. Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and identify opportunities for upselling or cross selling.

Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets. Negotiate and close contracts and agreements with customers. Regularly monitor market trends and competitor activities while developing effective strategies. Collaborate with sales
