Construction Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on technical and site matters. Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues with the project team. Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to achieve project milestones.

Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, method statements, and other project documentation. Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on project coordination.

Assist in material procurement, scheduling, and site logistics. Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions to minimize delays and maintain project quality. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and Singapore construction regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction or civil engineering industry. Able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods.

Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and relevant codes and regulations. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Possess a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
