Job Summary United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves leveraging data to derive actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance business performance across various departments. Job Responsibilities • Collect, clean, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present key insights to stakeholders. • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities and risks. • Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models to forecast future outcomes and support business strategies. • Collaborate with business units to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Proactively identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them. • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics. • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences. Job Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry. • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. • Proficiency in statistical programming languages like Python or R. • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
