Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based software systems. The ideal candidate will architect backend services, build robust APIs, leverage modern cloud technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support data-intensive applications. Key Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and test backend APIs, software features, and product infrastructure. • Build scalable and reliable backend solutions using serverless computing, distributed platforms, and cloud technologies. • Utilize AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate software design, implementation, and optimization. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Develop and maintain comprehensive automated tests to ensure software quality. • Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and testing processes to improve the software development lifecycle. • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure software solutions. • Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications • 6+ years of hands‑on software development experience. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. • Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies. • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. • Experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical environments. • Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
