The Opportunity: Senior Structural EngineerPreferred Location: Perth, WA (Full-Time, On-Site) Other Locations: Bunbury or KalgoorlieWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design, analysis, and project delivery. In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, mining, and infrastructure projects, ensuring all solutions are technically sophisticated, cost-effective, and fully compliant. This position offers a direct path to impact company growth, steer high-value projects, and share in the financial success of the firm through our performance-based profit-sharing program.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Execute complex structural calculations, load assessments, and engineering analyses.Project Delivery: Oversee design documentation, lead site inspections, and provide critical construction-phase support.Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with civil engineers, architects, and external stakeholders to streamline project execution.Team Mentorship: Guide, review, and elevate the work of junior engineers and draftspersons.Client Engagement: Manage key client relationships, translate project requirements, and drive continuous improvement in internal quality processes.Position RequirementsTechnical Expertise: Demonstrated experience delivering safe, efficient structural designs across diverse building and infrastructure sectors.Analytical Skills: Advanced capability in detailed structural calculations, material capacity checks, and code compliance.Software Proficiency: Competence in CAD tools to review, interpret, and refine engineering documentation.Consulting & Leadership: Proven track record managing multiple projects, meeting strict timelines, mentoring staff, and consulting with clients.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).Accreditation: Deep knowledge and experience of Australian standards; professional registration or eligibility for Chartered status is highly regarded
