Senior Solutions Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities Deliver presentations and conducts sales conversations with confidence and credibility to C-level clients, both in small meeting and large group formats; assisting with cost evaluation and providing pricing solutions.

Advise team members and sales prior to customer calls and/or sales strategy sessions; acts as subject matter expert in multiple families of solutions.

Designs technical business solutions not only considering the customer’s infrastructure but also the business limitations and opportunities; operates comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all stakeholders.

Responsible for driving a variety of initiatives and projects, and strategically works with sales, partners and customers to uncover and develop emerging business opportunities. Assist the Solution Engineer team to be successful through proactive training, sharing knowledge, and communicating best practices.

Role will involve approximately 20% travel Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum of 8 years of experience in presales or consulting within the ERP industry, or equivalent operational ERP experience. Background of success supporting both direct and channel sales.

Experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally with additional experience in distribution or finance industries. Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations.

Successful candidates may have worked for ERP companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Oracle/Netsuite, Infor, Sage or Syspro, or their Value-Added Resellers (VARs).

Qualifications
