Responsibilities • Provides direct patient care • Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation • Conducts ongoing assessments • Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications • Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice • Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions Qualifications • Current certificate of competence and good standing • Certified in CPR • Strong clinical skills • Negative TB test or chest x-ray • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision • Excellent customer service skills • Must be a licensed nurse in BC • Must have a vehicle
