ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

To coordinate and provide job instructions to the shift teams to ensure smooth and safe running of the terminal operations. Operate the DCS in the terminal. Taking over the Shift in the absence of the Shift Supervisor 1.

Coordinate with Logistics Department to ensure all vessels, barge, feed and rundown requirements are met with objective of zero major customer complaints 2. Coordinate commissioning and decommissioning of terminal facilities 3.

Take necessary actions to resolve operational problems; accurately record all activities in the shift log 4. Investigate high discrepancies in custody transfer; issue Letters of Protest (LOPs) to surveyors and ships as required 5.

Monitor all product transfers closely to ensure correct quantity and prevent overfilling or overflow 6. Guide and train new operational staff 7. Coordinate with shipping agent for timely vessel berthing and unberthing 8.

Prepare all shipping documents accurately for issuance to ships; review incoming shipping documents and forward to Logistics Department 9. Liaise and coordinate operational activities with surveyor companies and shipping agents 10.

Understand control system, firefighting system, emergency shutdown system, and gauging system; perform troubleshooting as required 11. Initiate defect or breakdown requests for Maintenance follow-up 12. Plan shift manpower assignment and arrange replacement as needed 13.

Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment readiness for repair work 14. Prepare shipping and other required documents 14. Part of the CERT 15. Support continuous improvement initiatives in operational processes and control systems 16. Proficient in DIMO system usage 17.

Assist the tank farm and jetty operations when necessary
