About the role
Work with a large Australian organisation that is heavily investing in technology. You will join a small, hands-on Product Engineering team responsible for building and enhancing in-house digital products that support core business operations.
This is a highly collaborative environment where everyone in the team remains close to the code. You will work directly with a small team - 2 other engineers, product specialists and AI-focused team members, contributing across both frontend and backend development.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career or operating at mid-level who wants to grow within a modern engineering environment. If you are a curious engineer who is hungry to learn, brings ideas to the table and gets stuck in this will be a great opportunity.
What you bring
• At least 2 years' hands on software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in one language and must have exposure to .NET/C#
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and modern web development (React)
• Familiarity with technical testing practices and ideally UAT processes
• AI assisted development experience and an interest and willingness to use AI tools (e.g. Claude Code) as part of daily development work
• Ability to work across backend, frontend or full-stack development
• Attitude - they are looking for a strong engineer who wants to have an impact
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to demonstrate your logic and thinking
