IT Business Analyst (Trading System / ETRM | Located at Raffles Place)

Job Summary Drive business transformation by leading analysis, solution design, and delivery across energy trading and digital initiatives. Responsibilities • Analyze business processes and identify transformation opportunities across the energy trading value chain. • Lead end-to-end requirements management, including BRD/FRD documentation, traceability, version control, and prioritization. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, alignment sessions, and decision-making discussions. • Act as the key liaison between business, IT, and vendors to ensure clarity and alignment of requirements and deliverables. • Establish and enforce requirements governance, including change control and formal sign-off processes. • Lead functional solution design, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities. • Conduct option analysis, including alternative solutions, process vs system changes, and cost-benefit evaluations. • Perform gap analysis and define actionable transformation roadmaps. • Ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and operational improvements. • Support or lead digital transformation initiatives across the project lifecycle (requirements, design, build, testing, deployment). • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and drive timely resolution with stakeholders and vendors. • Ensure compliance with internal governance, controls, and documentation standards. • Perform impact assessments for system and process changes across departments and systems. • Identify risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts, and define mitigation plans. • Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test strategy, execution, defect tracking, and quality assurance. • Analyze operational and system data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities. • Support reporting, data validation, and data-driven decision-making. • Manage vendor performance, ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements, scope, and timelines. • Provide functional expertise and support for ETRM systems, including enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization. • Maintain structured documentation for system configurations, processes, and project deliverables, ensuring knowledge transfer across stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business Information System, Finance or related fields. • Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within trading, commodities, or ETRM environments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Copilot, Power Apps, and Power Automate. • Strong experience in requirement management, including BRD/FRD documentation, traceability, and lifecycle management. • Proficiency in business process analysis and process modelling. • Experience in stakeholder and vendor management. • Proven ability to translate business needs into functional solutions and drive successful delivery outcomes. • Experience in solution evaluation, including option analysis and cost-benefit assessment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Experience in data analysis and reporting is an added advantage. • Familiarity with ETRM systems is highly preferred. • Technical knowledge such as SQL, .NET, JIRA or similar tools is an added advantage. • Ability to work independently, proactively manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and facilitation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
