Job Description

Technical & Marine • Support Technical Superintendents in the daily management of assigned vessels. • Prepare, maintain, and update technical reports, vessel records, and operational documentation. • Coordinate technical service arrangements, inspections, and vendor attendance when required. • Maintain accurate technical records and support departmental reporting. Procurement • Manage day-to-day procurement activities for vessels within approved budgets. • Process purchase requisitions and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stores, spares, and services. • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Inventory Management System (IMS). • Process supplier invoices and liaise with Finance to ensure timely payments. Planned Maintenance • Support the administration of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS). • Ensure manufacturers' maintenance schedules are updated and maintenance records remain current. • Assist in monitoring scheduled maintenance activities across the fleet. HSSEQ & Compliance • Maintain HSSEQ documentation, vessel certificates, and statutory records. • Follow up with vessels on safety, quality, and compliance matters. • Support document control, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance activities. General • Maintain organised filing systems for technical, marine, and HSSEQ documentation. • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel support. • Assist with ad-hoc technical and marine projects as assigned. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline. • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical, marine operations, vessel management, or ship management environment. • Familiarity with procurement processes, Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), and inventory management systems is advantageous. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
