Job Description
Plan, install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery and industrial equipment. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Perform inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and external contractors during installation and repair works.
Ensure all electrical work complies with Singapore safety regulations and company procedures. Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment documentation. Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency. Support emergency breakdown maintenance when required.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. Experience in the laundry industry will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, PLCs, inverters (VFDs), sensors, and industrial automation. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Willing to work overtime or respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
