Job Description

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst Lead / Product Owner (Vice President) . While embedded within the IT department, this is a highly strategic role where you will conceptualize and drive Product Development across the Trade Finance domain for both business and operations. You will own the long-term product roadmap for the continuous enhancement of our Trade platform, acting as a trusted consultant to business stakeholders and the ultimate bridge between Business and Technology throughout the SDLC/Agile lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Product Ownership & Strategy: Drive the long-term product roadmap for the Trade platform; propose build and implementation strategies that align with business growth and optimize user adoption. • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic consultant to business managers and end-users, eliciting complex requirements, designing optimal process flows, and presenting viable solution alternatives. • End-to-End Delivery: Function as the bridge between Business and Technology teams across all phases of Agile/SCRUM sprints and traditional SDLC. • Team Leadership: Provide thought leadership to the BA community within the organization, mentoring and coaching junior Business Analysts. • Solution Architecture & Testing: Involve yourself in high-level technical design discussions from a business perspective; oversee data mapping, review functional specifications, and ensure robust UAT/SIT execution. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Delivery, Project Management Offices, Architecture Committees, and vendors to ensure solutions are delivered within cost, schedule, and quality standards. What We Are Looking For: Given the specialized nature of this portfolio, deep domain expertise in Trade Finance is strictly required for this role. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant Business Analysis experience within a financial services environment. • Leadership: At least 3+ years of experience leading teams and coaching junior Business Analysts. • Domain Expertise: Comprehensive end-to-end knowledge of Trade Finance products (including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Standby Credits, Collections, Supply Chain Management, Factoring, Fund Transfers, Forex Payments, and SWIFT) within a regional hub environment. • Cross-Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of the end-to-end flow from channels to front, middle, and back office, including the impact of trade on loans and limits.
