The Vice President, State Governmental Affairs is responsible for developing and leading RGA's state‑level government relations strategy across the United States, including at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). This role provides enterprise leadership on legislative and regulatory engagement within a highly regulated environment, with a focus on protecting RGA's business interests, managing regulatory risk, and supporting long‑term growth. The Vice President will contribute to federal and international government relations programs as part of a versatile government relations team. The Vice President serves as a strategic advisor and represents RGA with senior policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders. This is role is remote What you will do Lead and execute RGA’s state government relations strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives and risk management priorities. Represent RGA at legislative hearings, regulatory meetings, rulemakings, and other forums, including NAIC national meetings. Monitor, analyze, and influence model laws, state legislation and regulation, and administrative actions impacting insurance and reinsurance. Serve as RGA’s senior representative with the NAIC, state legislators, governors’ offices, state insurance departments, and other state government agencies.
