Fast-growing renewable energy company This is a high-visibility role and Be a part of Technology center in New Delhi About Our Client The hiring organization is a global renewable developer and independent power producer (IPP). it builds, owns, and operates large-scale solar, wind, and battery assets across Europe, the Asia-Pacific (including India), and the Americas. Job Description SCOPE Core Responsibilities Maintain existing security aspects of IT (and preferably also OT) systems and networks Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or suspicious activity Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Implement any security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems where urgently required and which cannot wait for a full-time resource Technical Tasks Configure and manage security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR) Perform regular system updates, patching, and security hardening Review system logs and analyze security alerts Develop automation scripts to enhance security operations where enhancements cannot wait for a full-time resource Ensure secure configuration of cloud environments and on-prem systems Risk & Compliance Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats Work with internal resources to progress compliance with security standards, in particular NIS2 and ISO 27001, but also GDPR and NIST where required Carry out any urgent fixes coming from Penetration testing already conducted (Northwold in particular), and which cannot wait for a full-time resource Create security policies and procedures if required urgently and cannot wait for full time resource Maintain documentation of any incrementally implemented security controls The Successful Applicant A successful IT Security Consultant should have: Experience 8-10 years of overall IT and OT Security experience Proven hands-on implementation and operational security experience Ability to contribute immediately with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills What's on Offer Competitive salary matching industry standards.
