For an upcoming drilling rig construction and reactivation project in Singapore, Peak Ocean is assembling an owner-side PMT. We are seeking a highly experienced POG Technical Director to serve as a Client Representative in this role. The Role: Final Technical Authority As the POG Technical Director, you will act strictly in the client's interest, serving as the final technical authority and arbiter on complex, cross-discipline engineering matters for the drilling rig construction/reactivation campaign. You will work alongside the Project Director and Engineering Manager, providing independent technical assurance that protects the integrity, safety, and long-term reliability of the asset — delivered on time and within budget. 1. Technical Leadership & Assurance Serve as the final technical authority, resolving cross-discipline engineering conflicts across structural, mechanical, piping, E&I, drilling, naval architecture, and subsea disciplines. Provide independent technical review and sign-off on critical engineering deliverables, FEA reports , and stability/stress analyses. Mentor the Engineering Manager and Lead Engineers across disciplines, building technical capability within the PMT. 2. Technical Interface & Discussion Leadership Guide and lead technical discussions with Basic Designers , ensuring design intent, engineering philosophy, and critical design assumptions are correctly carried through into detailed and production engineering. Represent the PMT in technical discussions with Classification Societies (ABS/DNV) , resolving complex compliance queries and steering the approach to non-standard approva
