A Facilities Specialist Excutive (or Housekeeping Specialist) in a Singapore hotel is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas meet impeccable 5-star cleanliness and operational standards.Key duties include deep-cleaning, equipment maintenance, and strict compliance with local health and hygiene regulations. Your core job scope typically includes: Room Cleaning & Servicing Deep Cleaning - Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, as well as polishing furniture and fixtures. Sanitization Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting bathtubs, showers, toilets, and mirrors.Bedding & LaundryChanging bed linens, remaking beds to hotel standards, and sorting/distributing laundry. Supply Replenishment / Restocking guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, drinking glasses, and coffee/tea stations. Managing and organizing the housekeeping supply trolley.Facilities & MaintenanceConducting routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and recreational facilities (e.g., pools). Reporting damages, wear-and-tear, or malfunctioning appliances (like TVs or AC units) to the Engineering or Maintenance department. Performing minor preventive maintenance or upkeep on cleaning equipment. Safety & Guest RelationsAdhering strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and hygiene regulations. Assisting guests with inquiries, lost items, or special requests in a friendly and professional manner. Promptly reporting lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor or management. Ad-hoc duties assign by Manager Qualifications and Requirements: Diploma or Degree in HospitalityAt least 1 year previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
