Role Overview: (6-Month Full-Time Fixed-Term Employment | Potential for Continuous Employment) Global Citizen ’s PR & Communications department is seeking a dynamic PR professional with a passion for innovative storytelling, sharp news sense, and a strong contact list of industry-leading journalists across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to help further Global Citizen ’s mission to end extreme poverty and drive positive impact globally. Reporting to the VP of PR & Communications, the objective of the Director - Public Relations, EMEA, is to protect and promote Global Citizen ’s brand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is done through proactive and thoughtful sourcing and pitching of news from and for the organization, and building and maintaining a network of journalists and social influencers to which these stories can be shared with. The job requires tight management skills and the ability to nurture a team of outside press officers and agencies on a consistent basis.
