Job Responsibilities 1. Business Ownership (Core Requirement) Take end-to-end responsibility for supply chain outcomes (cost, service, risk) Think from a business owner perspective, not just task execution Proactively identify gaps and drive improvements Balance customer needs with operational and cost considerations 2. Problem-Solving & Structured Thinking Break down complex supply chain issues into structured components Identify root causes using data and logical thinking Develop practical and scalable solutions Make decisions based on data, not assumptions 3. Gemba & Operational Understanding Understand actual operations through site observation (Gemba mindset) Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies Connect real-world operations with system logic and data Translate operational insights into improvement actions 4. AI & Digital Application Mindset (Critical) Strong interest and passion in applying AI in real operations Practical usage of AI or digital tools (e.g. automation, analytics, AI assistants) Think in terms of automation, augmentation, and decision support Curiosity to explore how AI can redesign workflows 5. Business & AI Capability (Core Concept) Operate in both business domain (supply chain operations) and AI/digital application (tools, data, automation) Bridge business requirements with AI capabilities Translate operational problems into structured workflows or use cases Use AI as a core tool to deliver outcomes 6.
