Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Certified Medical Assistants to work within an GI/Gastroenterology Outpatient Clinic. 4 room clinic that provides assistance to 4 providers. Clinic does not do procedures, only office visits. No medication administration. MAs assist with chaperoning if needed. Intake, checkout, venipuncture, administrative duties. Job Duties: Obtain Vital Signs, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Venipuncture, Insurance Verification, Telephone Triage, Preparing for Exam, and Specimen Collection. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year of recent CMA experience Must have strong GI/Gastroenterology experience Must have strong Phlebotomy experience Must have strong Venipuncture experience EMR: Epic experience required Location: Durham, NC Rate: $696/weekly (travel rate, must reside >75 miles from facility) $600/weekly (local rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Days: 7:45am-4:15pm (Monday-Wednesday), 3x8 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 24 No Call No Weekends Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required.
