Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within the hospital in the Progressive Care/Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This unit includes a total of 28 beds: a PCU/Tele hybrid unit, a 20-bed Telemetry level of care unit, and 8 hardwired Intermediate Care Unit. Patients include those across the life span for cardiovascular and medical/ surgical needs. Primary population heart failure, chest pain rule out, post-Cath with and without PCI, post pacemaker/defibrillator implant. Staffing ratio is 1 to 4/5 days, 1 to 5/6 on nights. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of recent PCU, Cardiac Telemetry care experience Unit includes CPAP/BiPAP, Antiarrhythmics, Vasopressors, Antihypertensives, Anticoagulants, Sheath, and TR band removal. Must perform charge nurse duties as needed EMR: Epic experience required Location: Goldsboro, NC Rate: $2,016/weekly (travel rate, must reside >75 miles from facility) $1,800/weekly (local rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Days: 7:00am-7:00pm, 3x12 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Weekends: every other required Holidays: every other required On Call: Can be placed on-call (1) 12-hour shift per pay period in the event census drops. Report 1-hour from the call-in time.
