Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to work in the Catherization Lab. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of Invasive Procedure experience EMR: Epic experience required Job Summary: Documents history and physical assessment for patients undergoing procedures within the Cath lab. Explains procedures and treatments to patients to gain patient cooperation and understanding and allay apprehension. Prepares patient for procedure by positioning and using appropriate equipment. Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast enhanced radiographs of heart and cardiovascular system (angiocardiogram). Operates multichannel physiologic monitor to measure and record functions of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems of patient during cardiac catherization. Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions. Communicates with physician regarding patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and other significant incidents. Assists Physician in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Provides technical assistance as needed. Complies with departmental, hospital, and regulatory policies and procedures. Accepts responsibility for personal growth and development and professional accountability. Location: Raleigh, NC Rate: $2,340/weekly (travel rate, you must reside >60 miles from the facility to qualify) $2,124/weekly (local Rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Days: 7:00am-7:30pm, 3x12 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Weekends Call: every 3rd weekend Weekday Call: 1-2 weeknight of call per week Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment CCI/RCIS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist BLS Certification (AHA only) Quality Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay by direct deposit Housing Stipends/Meals & Incidentals
