About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Apparel Technical Designer – Women's Athleisure & Outerwear to join our Technical Design team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between creative design and production execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, organized, and thrives in a high-volume environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. This person must have a positive, can-do attitude and be comfortable working cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, QA, and overseas vendors to ensure all products meet the brand's standards for fit, construction, quality, and timeline. Strong technical knowledge across knits, fleece, activewear, loungewear, and sleep categories is essential, with a sharp eye for fit, garment construction, and overall product quality. Key Responsibilities Maintain a deep understanding of athleisure fit, fabric, and garment construction, aligning technical execution to the Comfrt aesthetic, customer expectations, and premium quality standards. Conduct seasonal competitive fit benchmarking to understand evolving fit trends, silhouette shifts, and best-in-class standards across the market. Partner closely with Design and Product teams to ensure fit evolves with the brand, remains relevant to the customer, and delivers a premium product experience. Create and maintain detailed tech packs including technical flat sketches, construction details, BOMs, measurement specs, POM diagrams, grading specs, and trim and artwork placement details.
