Key Responsibilities 1. Commercial Strategy & Business Development 1a) Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the Singapore market and regional export channel 1b) Identify new business opportunities, including new product categories, market segments, and distribution channels 1c) Lead negotiations with key suppliers (both local and international) to secure favorable trading terms, exclusive distribution rights, and strategic partnerships 2. Supply Chain & Operations Optimization 2a) Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution 2b) Forecast demand and manage stock allocation across channels to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory 2c) Oversee trade terms and credit management with customers and suppliers 3. Financial & Performance Management 3a) Own the P&L for assigned categories or channels, ensuring sustainable margin management 3b) Prepare and present regular performance reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations to the board and senior management 3c) Monitor competitive landscape, pricing trends, and consumer behavior to inform commercial decisions Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred Experience Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial experience in consumer goods trading or related industries Proven track record of driving double-digit revenue growth and managing large P&Ls (>SGD 20 million) Deep understanding of the Singapore retail landscape (both modern and general trade) and regional export markets (Southeast Asia) Strong network with major retailers, wholesalers, and industry stakeholders Skills & Competencies Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills Fluency in English required; Manda
