In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Analyzing biotechnology data related to durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies, and manufacturer research to formulate policy recommendations for Medicare coding, pricing, and national coverage determinations. Executing applied biomedical engineering technology assessments on medical equipment to determine the comparability and cost of new health technologies. Coordinating projects and product cost analyses to draft financial integrity regulatory language of healthcare trust funds. In addition to the qualifications listed above, to meet the basic qualifications for this position, you must meet at least one of the following requirements of education and/or experience: Possess a Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) the
