This is a remote position. Venteck is a software development organization with private and public cloud systems. Our request is a challenging job as our blend of Network engineers must have good skills and be looking for a long term position. Network support engineers focus on user needs and system requirements to design, set up, and maintain a business's computer networks. Whether it’s done in-house or for clients, engineers will gather data on systems, routers, and other hardware to build and manage fully operational networks. Responsibilities : The Network Communications Administrator is responsible for the IT core network communications infrastructure's implementation, day-to-day availability, integrity, and security. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing voice, data, and wireless communications systems and establishing and maintaining the backup of configurations to those systems. This includes ensuring business continuity, security, disaster recovery, and maintaining IT voice, data, and wireless network infrastructure hardware and software. Job Duties : Provide operational and technical support for the communications network infrastructure and our software development team. Collaborate with the team to design, implement, manage, and maintain the voice, data, and wireless communications infrastructure. Work with the Director of Network Communications to prioritize network-related projects, system maintenance, and end-user support for network communications equipment. Ensure the safety and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services using firewall security best practices. Create and maintain network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records documentation. Manage and maintain the network communications hardware and software inventories.
