Job Description
Area of Responsibility:  1. Provide cost effective design solutions for customer requirement based on set guidelines (both during Acquisition stage and product development stage). Participate customer discussions during alignment meetings. Document experience gained during design tenure. - Design on spec and time 2. Provide necessary design support/solutions during DFMA, DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, fixtures designs - Technical documents (design guidelines, design/development/investigation reports) as per standards 3. Innovation Management: Support for implementation of novice topics and filing them as Invention report - IRs and Patents 4. Escalation Management: Notify Team coach about work load prioritization, any design issues/risks/deviations during design process and obtain necessary support to mitigate them - On time 5. Networking: Participate in discussions with experts/CoC's within and outside Bosch thus enhancing one's competency - Competency enhancement   B.E in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Knowledge: 1. Advance knowledge about RB product development process and BES process 2. Basic knowledge on product design, design calculations & simulation. Good proficiency with CAD software, GD&T. (Preferred UG-NX) Functional Skills: 1. Basic communication skills and project centric approach 2. Basic skills on creativity, analytical skills and problem solving ability Education: Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Automobile); Masters in engineering (desirable)  Experience: 2+ years experience in Product development/design Work experience in automotive industry is preferred Nature of work calls for the candidate to be flexible and agile, with high customer/project orientation.  Candidate should be able to work in teams to achieve
