Job Description
Amazon's legal department is looking for a smart, experienced, creative, and highly motivated litigator to help manage Amazon's worldwide portfolio of commercial litigation disputes. You'll handle novel - 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent - Experience building case strategies, identifying risks, and aligning legal tactics with business goals - Can distill complex legal issues into clear, concise business guidance - Knowledge of internet, software, and media industries and the legal and regulatory environment in which they operate or equivalent - Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
