Job Description
1) Support engineering and technical issues in the design of commercial aero engine aftermarket repairs. 2) Provide technical response for repair requests and queries arising from Airline shops, third party shops and engine centers. This includes repair evaluation reviews, repair validation plans, SDGP, R3 reviews, MSD dialog responses etc. 3) Create and review technical data (EA) for repair request arising from customers. 4) Identify, advocate and manage execution of technology programs that will help customers increase revenue in the aero-engine aftermarket business 5) Responsible for commercial aftermarket technology development, which will include emerging commercial engine needs as they become available 6) Evaluate technology development requests. Interface with customers and discipline experts to establish project and validation requirements 7) Ensure technical objectives, quality performance and financial metrics are met and seek continuous improvement initiatives and pro-active proposals for improvements. 8) Broad understanding in aftermarket repair special processes, specifically with detailed knowledge in these area: Joining, Coating, NDE, Composite processes, Chemical processes and heat treatment 9) Strong understanding of engineering drawing design requirement and special process limitation. 10) Able work oversea for deployment to support off-shore customer. 11) Knowledge in modern manufacturing technologies such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR and Smart Factory will be a plus. 12) Able to communicate and read multiple languages will be a plus: English Mandarin, Japanese etc 13) Team-oriented with strong communication 14) Manage project time line, invoicing, on-time delivery, Turnaround time, SOW budget and customer reporting on regular basis 15) Ensure export and IP compliance for all technical work 16) Ensure technical objectives, quality performance and financial metrics are met. Job Requirements • Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace
