About the job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Professional Photographer / Videographer Type: Contract Compensation: $60/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Shoot 10 input images of people, objects, or backgrounds. Capture 1 output image and 1 output video that integrate all inputs in the same frame. Ensure all produced content is of high quality and aligns with provided guidelines. Work independently and efficiently in fast-paced environments . Deliver polished results without overcomplicating the process. Qualifications Must-Have 2+ years of professional photography experience. Strong photo/video portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual storytelling. Access to professional camera equipment ( DSLR or equivalent; no phone-only setups). Proficiency with standard editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , CapCut ). Ability to work independently, efficiently, and under tight deadlines. Preferred Creative, adaptable problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments. Self-starter with a passion for creating and experimenting with new visual ideas. Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete) Interview: 20 minutes Form: 5 minutes Work Trial: Selected candidates will complete a paid Work Trial ($120) . Successful candidates will be onboarded to the project and eligible for additional work. Compensation & Legal Successful completion of one task will earn $120 per task . The task is expected to take about 2 hours, making the effective rate approximately $60/hour , but compensation is based on task completion rather than hours worked. This is a per-task payment, not an hourly payment.
