Location: Orchard Working Hours: 5 days work week, shift work Salary: Up to $3499 + staff meals provided Our client is a leading international hospitality company. They are looking for a hands-on and reliable Technician to join their Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and seamless experience for our guests and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Building & Facilities Maintenance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and building systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment and facilities are operating safely and effectively. Assist with repairs, installations, renovations, and improvement projects as required. Operational Support Monitor the performance of engineering equipment and report abnormalities. Support event and banquet setups by ensuring all technical and facility requirements are met. Assist in maintaining essential systems such as lighting, water supply, ventilation, generators, and fire safety equipment. Coordinate with contractors and service providers during maintenance and repair works. Safety & Compliance Adhere to workplace safety regulations, hotel policies, and engineering standards. Participate in emergency response procedures and ensure readiness of backup systems. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Identify and report potential hazards, equipment failures, or safety concerns promptly. Team Collaboration Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B, and other departments to support hotel operations. Communicate effectively during shift handovers and team meetings.
