About the Role The Software and Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise software and business applications — from evaluation and procurement through deployment, maintenance, and retirement. This role ensures that all applications align with business objectives, meet performance and security standards, and deliver consistent value to end users across the organization. Key Responsibilities Application Portfolio Management • Manage and maintain the organization's portfolio of software applications, ensuring they are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic goals. • Evaluate and recommend application enhancements and configuration changes based on business requirements. • Lead software lifecycle planning including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning. Team Leadership • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application analysts, developers, and administrators. • Assign tasks, set performance objectives, and conduct regular reviews. • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Project & Delivery Management • Plan and manage application implementation and enhancement projects from initiation to completion. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business stakeholders. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Systems Integration & Architecture • Support reliable data flow and configuration consistency across application environments. • Work with developers and technical teams to support scalable, maintainable application delivery and configuration. • Ensure all applications meet organizational standards for security, accessibility, and compliance. Vendor & Stakeholder Management • Coordinate with internal product and engineering teams supporting SaaS platform delivery and customization for enterprise customers • Provide input on SLA and operational requirements based on delivery and platform experience. • Act as a primary point of contac
