Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Database Specialist Solution Architect to join the India WWSO Specialists team and help customers modernize their database estates on AWS. In this role, you will - Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience from a technical internship - 4+ years of database administration experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in SQL Server/MySQL and experience in Oracle DB - • Experience with at least one AWS or cloud-managed database service (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, or equivalent). - • Working knowledge of database migration tools and methodologies (AWS DMS, SCT, or similar). - • Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database design, normalization, and indexing strategies. - • Customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
